Today we combined our science and DT skills to create our own switches. We were able to use these to control different components. We then evaluated our designs looking for what went well and where we could improve.

St Giles Rudolph Run
A proud moment for our school, being presented with our fundraising total for our Rudolph Run.

Conductors and insulators testing
Fantastic work in science this afternoon investigating whether materials were conductors or insulators. We recorded results and used these to explain the science behind our findings. Ask us at home which materials are conducting.
Electricity Investigations
Today in science we were making predictions about circuits.
We had to use our prior knowledge to predict what would happen if we added an additional bulb to the circuit. We then used this knowledge to make predictions about other circuits.
Anglo Saxon Archaeologists at Tamworth Castle
What a fantastic day at Tamworth Castle.
We became archaeologists for the morning and uncovered artefacts. We had to determine what time period they were from and what they might have been used for.
