Year 1 have had lots of fun working practically in maths. Their knowledge of place value within 100 is coming on wonderfully! 
 

Year 3 had a wonderful afternoon at Spital tennis club. They learnt many skills and had lots of fun. As always, they were wonderful representatives of The Howard. 
 

Wow! What a fabulous morning we have had! Our Rocksteady bands have shown great commitment over the past term perfecting their musical skills. Today they showcased bravery and courage performing to parents and then their peers. We are incredibly proud of you all. Rock on legends!

We have had so much fun in forest school this afternoon. We brought our topic learning on extreme weathers into the forest creating turmeric sun paintings and summer wind sticks. What a fab afternoon.

We are so proud of all of our children who represented each team brilliantly. We were wowed by the sportsmanship, teamwork and resilience shown in each event.

We have been studying oceans in Class 1 and this week we were looking at global warming. We used duplo to create mini islands and then added water and ice to see what happens to the sea level when the ice melts. The children loved exploring this concept and the added bonus of the ice kept us…
