Rapping visitors
Yesterday we had a visit from Asian Reeves, an actress and singer who works closely with The Great Imagining! Together we thought about climate change and the effects of global warming. Together we created a rap and a beat made from our combined ideas!

Today we have been hot seating. We put ourselves in the position of Rhodopis, the character from our class text and answers questions as her. We thought about how she may be feeling and the different things she has been experiencing.

Tennis stars
Year 3 had a wonderful afternoon at Spital tennis club. They learnt many skills and had lots of fun. As always, they were wonderful representatives of The Howard.
Planting
Today we have been thinking about what a plant needs to grow and if they are able to grow without things such as light, soil and water. We have conducted an experiment to see if plants can grow in different environments and we will monitor these carefully over the next few weeks.

Geography Fieldwork
Yesterday we conducted some fieldwork which relates to our Geography topic. Children created a tally to show the volume of traffic coming into Elford as well as the types of transport. We then used this data to create a bar graph.
