We created fact files based on our chosen animal.
Perfect Purple Proof Reading
We’ve worked so hard on our portal stories based on our class book Leon and the Place Between.
Today we finally completed them and spent time with our proofreading partners to edit and improve our work.
Maths Manipulatives
We were looking at some tricky concepts in our maths lesson today but using the manipulatives really helped us.
We used the place value counters to look at adding and subtracting when crossing boundaries. Fantastic maths today.
MacMillan Coffee Afternoon
Wow!
What a fantastic afternoon raising money for MacMillan.
A massive thank you to all those who baked, donated and joined us for tea and cake.
Also, a huge thank you to Year 5 who ran the event - they really stepped up.
Keep your eyes peeled for the reveal of how much was…
Chutney making at The Howard

Phunky Foods Super Surveys
Phunky Foods have been working with Helen today carrying out surveys on healthy snacks.
We shared ideas for healthy snacks and discussed which snacks would be good choices.
Thank you Phunky Foods ambassadors.
International Day of European Languages

Reception Reading Challenge
Reception had a fantastic time choosing their first reading challenge book!
Classification Champions
I have seen some fantastic learning in class 2 this afternoon.
We have learnt how to classify by creating keys for our class and then for sweets.
We have created sensible questions to split different sweets and had some fantastic scientific conversations.
What a talented bunch of children we have!
What a fantastic assembly with Mrs Tyler today!
We looked at the Parable of The Talents and Class 3 dramatised this brilliantly!
We certainly have a school full of talented children.
