Electricity Investigations
Today in science we were making predictions about circuits.
We had to use our prior knowledge to predict what would happen if we added an additional bulb to the circuit. We then used this knowledge to make predictions about other circuits.

Which common appliances run on electricity?
Class 2 have started their new Science topic, electricity. They have looked at the scientific skills of identifying, grouping and classifying, plus recording data. Well done everyone for a great start to the topic!
Volcanic Eruptions
We ended our Geography topic with a bang by creating our own exploding volcano!

Video call with Awoignt
In French today we had a video call with our pen pals from Awoignt. We introduced ourselves, gave our name and the village we lived in all in French. Fantastic work class 2!
Amazing animations
Class 2 have created their final animations in computing. They made sure to take note of the onion skinning to ensure that their animations were as smooth as they could be. Great work class 2!
Mackintosh investigation
Class 2 have had another fun afternoon exploring British inventors. Today they learnt about Charles Mackintosh. Then they investigated making paper boats waterproof. Such fun!
Christmas Craft Day

What an incredible day!
We have had so much fun making all the different Christmas crafts and can’t wait for our parents to see them.

Investigating Friction
In science today we used newton metres to investigate how much force was needed to pull cars along different surfaces. We then used our findings to design roads based on John McAdam’s research.
