Standon Bowers 2022

What an amazing week we had at Standon Bowers!  It was certainly an action packed week with all children giving their all regardless of the level of challenge they were presented with.   Many children had to face their fears ; particularly when climbing and caving.  Heights and enclosed spaces are not everyone’s idea of fun yet all our children proved they had amazing resilience and determination.  Other activities included orienteering, bridge building, archery, night walk and a wonderful day at The Roaches where children tried their hand at bouldering.  We were fed and watered really well by the centre staff and late night hot chocolate was certainly in order to wind down from the days activities.  The behaviour of all children was excellent and the centre staff commented on how hard everyone worked as a team.  It was a very quiet coach on the way home as many caught up on sleep!
