In RE we have learning about different festivals. We looked at the Hindu and Sikh festival Diwali, the Jewish festival Purim and the Christian festival Advent.
We made Diva lamps as part of our Diwali lesson and groggers as part of our lesson on Purim. The children enjoyed shaking their groggers when the evil Hamam's name was mentioned in the story, like the Jewish children do in the Synagogue.
