This half term we began Creative Outdoor Club, which has been really well received by the children. The aim is to spend some time outdoors in a natural environment and participate in activities that promote independence and success. Over the weeks we have made autumn crowns, we found special acorns and reflected on what made us special. We looked at natural art by Andy Goldsworthy and had a go at creating our own, rock painting and identifying trees and plants around the school grounds. We finished off our sessions with a warm hot chocolate and a snack and had a little time to discuss our feeling s on the session. We are really looking forward to taking another group out next half term to enjoy some more activities.
