Write a diary,

Write a diary about your week at home. Remember to recount what you’ve been up to and add your thoughts and feelings.

I have added a Time Capsule Booklet that you could complete whilst you are safe at home.

Reading  poetry

Using the poems ‘Please Mrs Butler’ and ‘Excuses’ you will give your opinion and use the text as evidence to support you. You will also try reading a poem aloud using your voice, face and body language to show expression.

This lesson includes:

Select a task from the reading grid- over the next few weeks, see if you can complete a line then eventually the full house!


Get your parents to test you on your spellings- remember they must ask you them in a random order. Any mistakes, copy them out three times
