Chinese New Year

Today we have celebrated Chinese New Year.

We have had a Chinese music lesson, where we learnt about traditional Chinese instruments and tried to sing in Chinese.

After learning about the story behind Chinese New Year, we created Chinese dragon masks and puppets.

For lunch, Mrs Osbourne cooked us a Chinese feast which was delicious.

Then, in the afternoon, we sampled some Chinese food including; soup, lychees, fortune cookies, herbal tea and prawn crackers.

We have had a fantastic day!
