Remembrance

In class this week we have watched a short film Cbeebies called 'Poppies'. As a class we have discussed the importance of Remembrance Day and what the poppy represents. Year 2 then looked at the film in more detail in their whole class reading sessions, producing some fantastic ideas! We also made poppy biscuits in class on Friday afternoon and discussed their significance. 

Seren also wrote a poem at home about the World War I soldiers and shared it with the class.
