Rudolph Run
What: Rudolph Run
When: Wednesday 13th December 1:30pm
Where: Elford Cricket pitch
This year we will be taking part in St Giles Hospice’s Rudolph Run.
Why?
We spend around £10 million a year providing our specialist services and, with 25% of this
funded by the Government, we rely heavily on donations and income generation from the
local community.
By taking part in fundraising events like our Rudolph Run and raising sponsorship, you’re
helping to care for local people, and their loved ones, living with a terminal illness.
In our 40th anniversary year, please help us to continue to provide special moments for
patients and their loved ones, today, for the next 40 years, and beyond.
Here’s how your kind donation could help:
£20 could give a patient and their loved ones a final Christmas meal together
£40 could help make special memories for a family spending their last Christmas together at St Giles
£80 could pay for 3 hours of one-to-one nursing care for a patient this Christmas
In order to help St Giles we are asking our children to complete a Rudolph Run wearing their reindeer antlers to raise money for this worthwhile cause. Children will receive a certificate (and get to keep their antlers) on completion of their challenge.
Class 1: 1 lap of the Elford Cricket Pitch
Class 2: 2 laps
Class 3: 3 laps
Parents are welcome to pop along and run with their children if they wish!
