Reception Flower Power

Treasure Island

Growing a growth mindset
Class 2 have been looking at how they can grow a growth mindset. They have learnt the power of the word YET and how thinking positively can open your mind to allow learning in and growth.

Theme park maths!
Year 6 have been working really hard creating their own theme park during maths! They have looked at entrance fee’s, profit and loss as well as Maintenance and staffs to keep their theme park running. Well done to all the champions across the season.
Debating land use in Geography
In geography we have been looking at the different types of land use. We were then given a scenario - a new supermarket being built in Elford on the cricket field. We looked at pros and cons in relation to the impact on the village. We then put our points forward in a brilliant team debate.
Reading challenge reward day
What an amazing morning at Waterstones and The Hub cafe Lichfield. We really enjoyed collecting our choice of free book and enjoying a tasty hot chocolate to finish the morning!
