It’s Me - 1, 2, 3
Reception have been exploring the numbers 1, 2 and 3. The have been on number hunts, counted out different objects, subitised to 3 and practised writing the numerals. Great work Reception!
How the Whale Became
Class 3 have been using How the Whale Became as inspiration for their creative writing this term. There were many variation created such as 'How the elephant got its trunk' and 'How the snake shed its skin'.
Forest school
We have had a busy couple of weeks in forest school, climbing trees, experimenting with natural colours to make paints, carving and modelling with clay and natural materials and of course den building.
Reception Label Miss Kaur
The children had great fun this afternoon, labelling the different parts of Miss Kaur. With support they read the labels and as a group decided where to stick the label on Miss Kaur! Super work Reception!
Endangered Species Investigations
We have been busy in science today investigating different species and why they are endangered.
We created fact files based on our chosen animal.
Perfect Purple Proof Reading
We’ve worked so hard on our portal stories based on our class book Leon and the Place Between.
Today we finally completed them and spent time with our proofreading partners to edit and improve our work.
