Phonics fun in class 1
We have now begun our phonics in class 1 exploring initial sounds in lots of fun ways. The children have demonstrated enthusiasm and great understanding - we are so proud of them.

What can our special items tell us about our history?
Class 2 have had a wonderful afternoon sharing their special memories. They have listened to each others stories and then presented what they heard to their peers. They then plotted their favourite memory on their own timeline. Super history learning everyone!
Place value power!
Year 1 have worked very hard mastering place value within 10 this week. They have played quick counting games against partners, represented numbers, investigated number lines and looked at 1 more than. Great work year 1.
