Class 2 enjoyed investigating which objects around our classroom were magnetic and non-magnetic. They then presented their findings on a Venn diagram. Great work everyone.

Kindness box
In breakfast club the children create and decorated a kindness box. Some of the children went around the classrooms and gave everybody a kindness mission, including the teachers. The kindness box will be in reception if anybody fancies a kindness challenge of their own!
Christmas has arrived
The children have been telling their peers about Christmas traditions and followed up by decorating the hall Christmas tree.
Christmas Craft Day

Class 4 Design and Technology

Can you make a boat that will float?
The children have great fun consolidating their learning on materials that will float and sink. This week they explored whether the material and the shape of the material made a difference as to whether it floated or not.
Counting in tens
Class 2 are exploring place value beyond 20. They have enjoyed moving and singing a count by tens song followed by some practical count in tens games. Well done everyone.
Mixed
We have loved our story this week called ‘Mixed’. The children have had lots of fun completing activities linked to colour and pattern. A particular favourite was exploring what colours could be made by mixing the paints. Lovely work Class 1.
Sentence Construction
We have been down lots of sentence spotting this week. The children have been fantastic at spotting capital letters and full stops.
