Geography Our new topic for this term is Trade.
Task 1 – Work your way through the PowerPoint. Think about the following items: rice, sugar, cotton wool, tea, flowers, bananas, coffee, oranges, orange juice, chocolate, sweet corn, tinned fruit etc.
Where do they think these items originally came from? Is this the same as where they were made/manufactured?
Research which country each item is made in.
Challenge – Take a look at some food products in your kitchen – where do these come from?
Activity 1 – Using the pictures and there locations, label up the world map. There is a completed example for you to look at/ to check your answers.
PE - Have a go for the chance of winning a signed shirt.
