Year 1 get Into The Groove

We have had lots of fun this afternoon in our music lesson. The children really got ‘into the groove’ by finding the pulse in different pieces of music. They stomped, clapped and swayed in time to some Latin music. They then used the musical instruments to play in time to the pulse. We listened to a lively song that the children enjoyed moving around to. Ricky Martin’s ‘Livin’ La Vida Loca’ was a hit with Year 1. Great work everyone!
