School council have been working with Barry from the Time Out club in Elford. Barry and a team of volunteers host a club every Wednesday to support those with dementia and caregivers of those with dementia.
Before Christmas Barry reached out to us and school council have chosen to support this as part of the schools work in the community.
Yesterday we had the privilege to attend one of the sessions. We got to know the people who attend and volunteer there and also took part in some of the fantastic activities they put on. We can’t wait to attend again and look forward to fundraising for such a good cause.
