Forest School
We have had another fantastic half term of forest school activities. The children have used the sessions to explore and investigate their ideas and follow their learning in an independent way, which allows them to achieve their own aims. Some of the activities that the children have participated in include making tree spirits, creating their own nests/habitats from looking at a wasps nest, making potions and perfumes in the mud kitchen, leaf bashing/hapazome, den building and tree climbing. At the end of the sessions the children discussed their ideas with each other and thought about what they had done really well and what they might change for the next session. We look forward to our next half term of active, independent forest school learning.
