Our Year 1 children have been learning all about 3D shapes this morning. We have been naming them, describing them using mathematical language including faces, surfaces and edges and exploring which ones work well for building towers. Reuben realised that he could balance the sphere on the side of the tower but it could not be used to extend the towers height. Great work Year 1!
