Our Year 1 children went into forest school this afternoon for our science lesson. We learned all about minibeasts and insect, what sort of habitats they live in and how many of them are invertebrates. We had lots of fun, moving the logs and looking underneath to see what we could find. We found worms, spider, slugs and woodlouse to name a few. The children carefully returned the logs and other natural materials after looking at the minibeasts. Super work Year 1!
