Outdoor Classroom Day

What a day !!  A wonderful day was had by all at the official opening of our forest school and outdoor classroom. The children tried their hand at a range of activities including:

making leaf garlands

fire making

autumn crowns

mud kitchen

den building

making bird feeders

pond dipping

clay leaf printing

creating a bug hotel and wormery

Our outdoor area, of which we are immensely proud, is the result of a lot of hard work and dedication by a number of people.  These include parents, staff and a partnership with Transforming the Trent Valley.  As you will see from the photo gallery the children had an action packed day full of smiles, teamwork and valuable learning.  Thank you to everyone who made today possible.
