Outdoor Club
The children have enjoyed another half term participating in Creative Outdoor Club. We started off by creating a forest friend using the materials we found around the field, and it was lovely to see that some of the children enjoyed this so much that they went on to create their own whilst out with their families. We have made bird feeders that we have hung up around the environmental area and the children have also spent a couple of weeks making pine cone Christmas decorations. One particular activity that has captured the children's imagination has been making fairy houses for our Howard forest fairies. They have been really creative with their ideas and it is something that has continued on over a few weeks. Again some of the children enjoyed this so much that they have continued to build their own fairy houses at home. Of course we all needed some hot chocolate and a snack to keep us warm on those cold afternoons. Well done everyone it has been a great term of outdoor learning.
