Return to school - Class 1 Day 2

Yesterday we welcomed our Reception and Year 1 children back to school, it was lovely to see their smiling faces again! We have had a fantastic couple of days so far. We have talked about our bubble in school and looked at the importance of social distancing and washing our hands in order to keep ourselves and others safe. Today we did some English and maths based on the Julia Donaldson story 'The Snail and the Whale', we also did some reading, phonics and handwriting practice. This afternoon we looked at the different colours in nature and did some art work using natural materials. All of the children have loved being back at school and I am so proud of the way that they have settled so quickly.
