Hello Reception,
This is your new Home Learning page which we will use whilst we are not at school.
This week I have provided you with a daily maths activity that is based on the story of Super Worm by Julia Donaldson.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Jnk3XApKBg
I have also uploaded a second Talk for Writing Home-school Booklet titled 'The Amazing Adventures of Max' and recommend that the children continue to do one activity per day.
You will also find a variety of phonic booklets and number and letter formation sheets. It is important to practice your letter and number formation daily. How am I holding my pencil? Pinch those fingers Reception!
This week I have also added a 'EY Booklet' which is full of different activities/ideas for Reception aged children.
From Monday 27 April, daily online phonics lessons will be available here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8C8BCB4hvc&app=desktop, please find Guidance Document below.

Howard’s Got Talent!
Whilst you are learning at home, we would like you to take this opportunity to develop a skill or talent. We would like each and every one of you to choose something you would like to develop, improve or learn.
This could include learning a language, perfecting a skill, like baking a Lemon drizzle Cake, improving your handwriting, completing a book collection, tying shoe laces and doing up buttons or even completing a Rubix Cube.
It is entirely up to you.
Remember to post an update, picture or video of your progress on Class Dojo.
When we return, we would like to share our new found skills with the rest of our school. Every child who shares their talent will receive a special certificate in Achievement Assembly.
We can’t wait to see what your new skills and talents are upon our return.
Team Howard
Looking after our mental health during these uncertain times:
Support activities for children:
Create a diary throughout your time at home. Make a note of what you’ve been up to, how you’re feeling, any questions going around in your head.
Write a letter to a friend or relative that you can’t see at the minute.
