Orienteering with St Mary's and Richard Crosse

We had a fantastic week last week!

We visited St Mary's School with Richard Crosse and took part in lots of brilliant activities.

First we completed an orienteering course around St Mary's school using the maps that their Year 5 and 6 children had made.

Then we went out into Colton village and completed an orienteering course around the village - some of the pegs were hard to find but we succeeded.

We evaluated each others maps and applied all our skills from our Geography orienteering topic.

In the afternoon we visited their church and talked to Rev. Anne Noble and Dr. Noble about our RE topic, Cosmology vs Creation story. We asked lots of questions and discovered lots about our topic from the experts.
