Diwali Festivals of Light
Today we created a picture story book to match the story of Rama and Sita. Each of us took a key part of the story to recreate. We enjoyed learning about how the story linked to Diwali the festival of light.
Toys from the past
Class 1 had a great time today looking at toys from the past as part of their History topic. They were able to explain similarities and differences between toys then and now and really impressed our special guest from the History Association.
Class 3 Arboretum Visit

Exploring equal groups
Year 3 have started their next White Rose Maths unit focusing on Multiplication. To begin this unit, year 3 have looked at equal groups. Great work year 3.
Animating fun
Class 2 have had lots of fun exploring ‘Stop Motion Animator’ on the Chromebooks. They spent time evaluating what worked and what didn’t before making a final animation. Great work everyone!
Bearpee challenge completed!
Class 1 smashed their 1000 “bearpee” target for Children in Need! They completed 1140 burpees to raise extra sponsorship money.

Fizz Pop Science Club
What a fantastic first session for Fizz Pop Science club.

Pudsey Bear’s Bearpee Challenge
What a fantastic morning completing Joe Wicks’ Bearpee Challenge.
We stepped up to his target of completing 1000 burpees in each class and have smashed it!

School Council’s first visit with Barry from Dementia Caring
Today our new school council had their first meeting with Barry from the Time Out dementia caring charity.

Belgrave Fire Station
On Tuesday morning, Class 3 visited Belgrave Fire station for a number of workshops. They included : fire safety, dementia awareness, CPR, citizenship and water safety. As you can see from the photographs the activities were interactive and extremely informative.
Terrific telephones
Class 2 have started their design and technology topic about British inventors. They started by learning about Alexander Graham Bell, the Scottish inventor of the telephone.
