Class 1 had a lovely time planting the flowers that they have studied in their science lessons. They have added a lovely bit of colour to the outside area. Thank you to the class 3 children for their help too.

Years 1 & 2 have a great time exploring Elford Hall garden. They were identifying plants and trees whilst on the walk. They also spotted lots of trees and discussed whether they were deciduous or evergreen. Great fun and scientific exploring!

Today Class 2 were lucky enough to have Mr Keen come in to talk to them about being an electrician. He really helped us to bring our science and design and technology learning to life. Thank you for giving up your time Mr Keen. 
 

Class 2 are becoming coding champions. Today’s challenge was to make 3 sprites play different sounds, move or change costumes and change the backdrop! Quite a challenge! The children chose their own challenge level based on how confident they felt. Great leaders of your learning class 2.

Every Monday begins with a focused handwriting session in class 2. We learn a join and then try hard to apply this, and the others that we have already focused on, in any writing that we do. Keep up the good work class 2 and there will soon be more pen licenses given out.
