Boscobel House

Class 3 travelled to Shropshire this week to visit Boscobel House and The Royal Oak.  Having been defeated by Oliver Cromwell at the Battle of Worcester, Charles II escaped to Boscobel in fear of his life. He hid in The Royal Oak tree for 14 hours in the pouring rain!  We had a wonderful day of learning as you can see from the photographs.  Make sure you ask someone in class 3 about the Civil War as they are now full of facts!!
