Boot Donation Service

 

Tamworth Borough Council have recently opened a new 3G All Weather facility at Anker Valley Sports Complex. This will be used for a variety of activities including football, netball, multi-sports, hockey etc.

Due to the surface of the new facility, specific footwear has to be worn. 

We appreciate that the cost of this footwear may become a barrier for some families and, with this in mind, we have set up a Boot Donation Service.  This will allow any children/teens wanting to use the facility to be able to borrow a pair of boots, taking the pressure off families who are struggling financially and preventing children/teens from missing out. 

 

If you have any pre-loved boots that are no longer needed, with studs similar to those in the image below, please consider donating them. All sizes are welcomed! 

 

Boots can be dropped to Anker Valley Sports Complex on Monday and Tuesday evenings between 5pm and 9pm, or alternatively please contact  Sports-Pitches@tamworth.gov.uk
