May Sticks
When we go on our May walk, we will be stopping a key points around the village and there, we will sing a May song. In true Howard May Day style, we would like for our children to each have a May Stick. These are sticks wrapped in fabric, ribbon, wool etc and decorated with flowers. If possible, it would be lovely if the May Stick had jingle bells attached so the children can use their sticks to accompany some of the songs.
I know that once these are made, you can keep them for years amd keep using them throughout your child’s time at The Howard as we will continue this tradition for years to come!
